Hope Mandel is the Global Training Resources director at CPG CatNet. She will do training assessments for interested manufacturers and retailers and refer the appropriate solutions, including training programs from known trainers in the industry.
She is also responsible for organizing and facilitating the internationally-acclaimed Storewars business simulation program. The main goal of this program is to improve relationships between suppliers and retailers, always a key industry initiative. This is accomplished by providing participants with first-hand knowledge of the challenges their trading partners face and giving them the opportunity to work towards win-win situations in a risk-free environment.
In addition, Hope is working with the association’s International Chapter Coordinators to organize training in their countries.
Hope is also available as an ad-hoc trainer for other trainers’ programs as needed.
For the past nine years, Hope has specialized in teaching companies how to improve their return on investment in market research information by more effectively using it in their decision-making process. Participants in her various classes have come from virtually every major industry player in more than 35 countries. She has run Storewars more than 50 times in over 20 countries. In-house programs have been run by companies such as BAT, Kraft, Unilever, Ahold, Supervalu, Tesco, Wal-Mart and The Nielsen Company.
Since 2003, Hope has been President of her own training company, Global Decisions. Prior to that, she acquired more than 20 years experience in the CPG industry working for The Nielsen Company, where she provided insights from retail measurement and consumer panel information to top manufacturers and retailers in the U.S.
