VMI Replenishment Analyst
Leading supplier of Vendor Managed Inventory solutions for suppliers in the entertainment industry (music, film, games) is looking for a VMI Replenishment Analyst to join their team. The Analyst will work on-site with one of their clients to run and assist in various aspects of replenishment and supply chain activities at multiple retailer accounts. This is an interesting opportunity in a dynamic industry with an international company that is expanding globally.
Overview:
The Analyst will play an important role in formulating competitive edge throughout the replenishment and collaboration processes, so that the client will be able to provide high service levels while managing costs to minimal levels. He/she will work closely with a wide variety of departments in the client (a/o sales, marketing, operations) as well as with various departmenst in the retailers (a/o category management, store operations). Therefore fundamental understanding and working knowledge of inventory management, replenishment systems, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software is a must. The candidate preferably has experience in Demand Planning, Sales Planning, Forecasting, or other related Supply Chain functions at an electronics or a consumer packaged goods company.
Responsibilities:
- Generates timely, accurate and cost efficient replenishment orders
- Conducts basic replenishment analyses
- Generates market share analysis based on historic sales, comp title sales, account provided sales index and demographics
- Recommends initial placement quantities for new release and catalog promotions based on store market share analyses
- Runs account and department scheduled reports
- Maintains replenishment system settings in line with department/account guidelines
- Participates in departmental knowledge training programs and professional development programs
- Possesses well-developed analytical acumen
- Demonstrates ability to integrate disparate data
- Makes clear and convincing oral presentations to individuals or groups
- Expresses written ideas, thoughts, or facts in a clear, convincing, and organized way.

Requirements:
- Fundamental understanding and working knowledge of inventory management, replenishment system, spreadsheet, database and presentation software
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS, Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP
- Retail and/or Manufacturer replenishment/inventory management experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Demand Planning, Sales Planning, Forecasting, or other related Supply Chain function at an electronics or a consumer packaged goods company
- Bachelor degree in Economics, Supply Chain, or other related majors
