Moderated audio webinar, study guide, case study and online testing system (for certification testing). By registering for the CACM program, participants will have access to the following CACM materials:
- Study Guide (a high quality guide which captures all key points in the CACM program)
- On-line training videos & webinar recordings (if you miss a session and/or want to review previous webinars)
- On-line quizzes (for self assessment after each webinar)
- Workshops (to make the training relevant for your role)
- Final exam and Case Study (to receive designation in CACM, you need to pass the on-line final exam and complete the case study with a passing final grade)
- Coaching & Support (participants will have e-mail access to CMKG?s team when they have questions that arise, need further explanation of content, and/or need support to successfully complete the program)
Program Objectives
The Certified Associate in Category Management program can benefit a wide range of team members who want to increase their performance and skills in the areas of category management and basic data analysis.
At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Define category management and explain the process
- Define and segment a category
- Assign category roles based on retailer strategy
- Explain the importance of retailer strategies in CM
- List the regional data sources available in CM and their associated 'watchouts'
- Identify and analyze the sales fundamentals
- Complete a basic category review and category action plan
Time Frame:
Candidates will have 2 months to complete the program, including the final exam and case study.
Testing & Certification:
In order to get the CACM Certificate, candidates will need to pass both the final exam and the case study. The final exam has a required passing grade of 70%, and the passing grade is 80% for the case study.
