'New Ways of Working Together'
For years, the food industry has been discussing collaborative commerce between trading partner. It started with the Efficient Consumer Response, better known as ECR, which was grounded into four fundamental  frameworks . . ..Efficient Assortment, Efficient Replenishment, Efficient Promotion, and Efficient New Product Innovation. While some progress has been made over the years, today’s supply chain is still filled with waste, stores seem cluttered with too many skus, inventory level are high throughout the value chain, and out of stocks continue to plague consumer. In the future, trading partners will need to focus on new ways of working together focusing on shoppers insight and consumer behavioral shifts to radical alter the industry’s value chain over the next decade. This presentation will create new ways to redefine the 2015+ value chain, information sharing among trading partners more readily and freely, and collectively new ways of working together for business growth while delighting the consumer of the future.
