What is a Chapter Coordinator?

Nothing happening yet in your country?  Help form a chapter

Chapter Coordinators
Thank for your interest in sponsoring a chapter and/or acting as a central contact point for the association in your region.  We have a tremendous number of requests from around the world from manufacturers, retailers, universities, and consultants who wish to connect with each other.  Additional requests are from category managers at companies headquartered elsewhere and need immediate resources in a region new to them.

The website pages for these
International Chapters are intended to serve the dual role of providing a point of connection for peers in that region, as well as introducing regional resources (consultants, trainers, software, etc) to category managers from manufacturers and retailers.  Annual chapter meetings will be coordinated by the association and the Chapter Coordinator/Sponsors.

What does a Chapter Coordinator do?
The Chapter Coordinator acts as central point of connection for the region and answer questions about the association to explain
Membership Options and the Solution Referrals program.  The coordinator helps to co-ordinate marketing communications using the association database.  All intensive marketing and administrative work will be performed by the staff of the association.

Who can be a Chapter Coordinator?

Individuals who are employees of manufacturers and retailers, and professors or full-time students, may act as a Chapter Coordinator without necessarily being a ‘Chapter Sponsor’.  An employee of a consulting, training, software or data firm may also act as the Chapter Coordinator if their company is sponsoring the chapter, and provided they follow the policies of the association closely.

What is a Chapter Sponsor?
A Chapter Sponsor is company who wishes to be recognized with signage at events, speaking opportunities, website advertising spots, and other co-marketing opportunities. Any company may be a Sponsor or Co-sponsor provided they are willing to follow the policies of the association closely.  This means in part that regional competitors must be offered equal opportunity to participate in all programs, including
Solution Referrals and the advertising benefits of co-sponsoring the chapter.  Chapter Sponsors have many of the Corporate Membership privileges combined with the Complete Exhibitor Package.  Terms will be worked out on a case-by-case basis depending on the sponsor’s current market presence in the region and the breadth/depth of existing regional connections.
